We have used therapeutic grade essential oils of Black Spruce & Fir Needle to create a unique soap that smells like the forests of the Pacfic Northwest. This is a great all around soap, you can use it as a face wash, body wash and hand soap. Not to mention, this soap is 100% biodegradable.

Fir Needle (Abies Alba)
Fir Trees are native to Northern European mountain regions but have become naturalized in many regions all over the world. Fir Trees have helped to define the landscape of the Pacific Northwest and have long been celebrated as a great resource to our communities. The use of Fir oil dates back many centuries, reference to Fir needles medicinal use date back as far as the bible where it is referred to as the “Balm of Gilead”. In North America, Native Americans have used fir resin for medicinal and spiritual purpose for many centuries. Fir oil is a relaxant and is used to promote calm and to aid the body in the release of tension. Fir needle oil is a great choice for use in skin care products because it is much milder on the skin than other oils in the Pinaceae Family.
Black Spruce (Picea Mariana)
Black Spruce essential oil is distilled from the needles and twigs of the Canadian Black Spruce. My favorite of all the evergreen oils, Black Spruce essential oil can be described as complex and hypnotic. Black spruce oil blends fresh green top notes with a very grounding base note of fresh cut wood. Black Spruce oil can be both calming and energizing at the same time, making it quite versatile. It is great to use in the shower or bath just before bedtime or when waking in the morning.
